Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 August 2026 These Terms & Conditions apply to coaching, talks, workshops and related services provided by Hannah Desmond, a sole trader. By booking or purchasing a service from me, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About me

I am Hannah Desmond, an ADHD/AuDHD Coach, neuroinclusion speaker and sole trader. You can contact me at: Email: hello@adhdcoachhannah.com These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided directly by me unless separate written terms have been agreed for a particular project or engagement.

2. My services

I provide ADHD/AuDHD coaching, neurodiversity and neuroinclusion talks, workshops and related services. The specific service you purchase, including its price, duration, number of sessions and any agreed deliverables, will be confirmed at the time of booking or in a separate written agreement.

Coaching

Coaching is a collaborative process designed to support you in exploring your goals, understanding your own patterns and developing approaches that work for you. Coaching is not medical treatment, psychotherapy, counselling, diagnosis or a substitute for professional medical or mental health care. I will not diagnose ADHD, autism or any other condition as part of coaching. If you are receiving medical or mental health treatment, you remain responsible for working with the appropriate healthcare professional where necessary.

Talks and workshops

Talks and workshops are educational and professional development services. The content, format, duration, audience and deliverables will be agreed in advance with the client. Unless otherwise agreed, talks and workshops do not constitute medical, psychological, legal or employment advice.

3. Booking and payment

Prices will be displayed on my website or provided to you before you agree to purchase a service. Payment must be made using the payment method and by the deadline specified when you book or in your written agreement with me. For coaching packages or other services paid in instalments, the agreed payment schedule will apply. I may require payment in full or a deposit before confirming a booking. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received or, for business clients, once I have confirmed the booking in writing under the agreed payment terms.

4. Coaching appointments

Coaching sessions will take place at the time agreed when booking. Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, the session will normally still finish at the originally agreed time. If you need to rearrange a session, please give me as much notice as reasonably possible. Where a cancellation or rearrangement policy applies to a particular coaching package, this will be explained when you book. I will always try to be reasonable about unexpected circumstances and emergencies.

5. Cancellation and statutory cancellation rights

If you purchase services online or otherwise at a distance as a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract. There are circumstances in which the statutory cancellation rights can be affected, including where you ask for a service to begin during the cancellation period. If you ask me to provide a coaching session or other service during the 14-day cancellation period, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the service already provided if you subsequently exercise your cancellation right, where permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights. Where a particular service has different cancellation arrangements, I will provide those arrangements before you purchase the service.

6. Cancellation or postponement by me

I may occasionally need to cancel or postpone a session, talk or workshop because of illness, an emergency or circumstances outside my reasonable control. Where this happens, I will make reasonable efforts to rearrange the service with you. If I am unable to provide the service and no suitable alternative can be agreed, I will provide any refund that you are legally entitled to.

7. Talks and workshops for organisations

For organisational clients, the agreed scope of a talk or workshop will be confirmed in writing. This may include: Date and time Duration Delivery format Number of participants Subject or agreed content Preparation requirements Fee and payment terms Any agreed materials or follow-up Changes to the agreed scope may result in additional charges where they require significant additional preparation, development or delivery time. Any additional work and associated fees will be agreed with you in advance.

8. Materials and intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed, presentation slides, written materials, exercises, frameworks and other resources I create remain my intellectual property. You must not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, modify or commercially reuse my materials without my prior written permission. For organisational workshops, the client may share materials internally with participants who attended the relevant session unless we have agreed otherwise.

9. Recording

You must not record, reproduce or distribute a coaching session, talk or workshop without my prior written permission. Where a talk or workshop is recorded by agreement, the permitted use of the recording will be agreed separately. I will not record coaching sessions unless we have specifically agreed this in advance.

I will treat information you share with me as confidential, subject to the limitations set out in my Privacy Policy and these Terms & Conditions. For coaching clients, I will not disclose the content of your coaching to other people without your permission except where I am legally required to do so or where I consider disclosure necessary to address a serious and immediate risk of harm. For organisational engagements, confidentiality arrangements may be agreed separately where appropriate.

11. Coaching boundaries

Coaching is a collaborative service. I will provide professional coaching within the scope of my training and experience, but I cannot guarantee a particular personal, professional or financial outcome. You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and wellbeing. If an issue arises that is outside the appropriate scope of coaching, I may recommend that you seek support from another appropriately qualified professional.

Subject to the above, I will not be responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when the contract was entered into, or for losses arising from matters outside my reasonable control. Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.

15. Events outside my control

I will not be responsible for delays or failure to provide a service where this is caused by circumstances outside my reasonable control. This may include serious illness, natural disasters, major technical failures, widespread internet or communications failures, or other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented. Where this happens, I will communicate with you as soon as reasonably practicable and make reasonable efforts to find an alternative arrangement.
