About me
Hello, I’m Hannah. I am an ADHD coach. I have lived experience of ADHD and autism. I know exactly what it’s like having a neurodivergent brain in a neurotypical world.
My background
I got an ADHD diagnosis in 2022, when I was working as a software developer at a cybersecurity scale-up.
Before my diagnosis, I couldn’t figure out why tasks that seemed easy for others felt so overwhelming for me. And why I felt so emotional at work. Tech can be a brilliant place for neurodivergent brains. It’s flexible and full of creativity and challenge. But without the right strategies and adjustments, it can also be exhausting and discouraging.
This experience, along with my mental health and neurodivergent support background in the NHS and Higher Education, brought me to coaching.
How I came to coaching
I spent way too much of my life beating myself up to fit in and do things in the ways other people do them.
After my ADHD diagnosis, I wanted a coach who really ‘got’ both tech culture and ADHD. But I quickly realised there weren’t many who had both.
I decided to train with Gold Mind Academy and complete my ADHD coaching certification. I’m now building my practice while working towards ICF accreditation.
My training went way beyond quick-fix productivity hacks. I learned to use ADHD-informed models to understand how our brains work, and what that means in daily life.
This work changed how I see myself. I’ve learned to better trust my instincts, honour my differences, and design ways of working that fit me. It’s the same process I now help my clients explore.
The fundamental thing about coaching is…
Coaching only works when it feels safe. For me, that means building trust, connection, and a space where you can show up as you are (with some humour along the way). I coach with curiosity and compassion, because I know from experience that cookie-cutter ADHD tips might work for a day or even a week. But usually, they don’t last. What does work is exploring together to find the approaches that fit you and your life.
A bit more about me as a human
I’m a proud queer person and a friend to all cats. I live in Athens, where I love being close to both the mountains and the sea while also enjoying the buzz of the city. Outside of coaching, you’ll often find me exploring the city, doing something creative like improv or clowning, or simply being horizontal at home and recharging my batteries watching a comedy-drama.
