Who I am

I am Hannah Desmond, ADHD Coach, operating as a sole trader. I am the Data Controller for all personal data collected through this website and my services.

You can contact me at:
📧 hello@adhdcoachhannah.com

If required, my ICO registration number can be provided on request.

What data I collect

When you interact with me (via this website, email, or coaching services), I may collect:

  • Your name and contact details (email, phone).

  • Information you provide when booking sessions or during coaching.

  • Payment details (processed securely via third-party providers — I never see or store full card numbers).

I do not keep notes from coaching sessions.

How I use your data

I use your data in order to:

  • Provide coaching services you have requested.

  • Manage bookings and payments.

  • Communicate with you regarding your coaching or related services.

  • Meet legal, accounting, and insurance obligations.

I do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Where and how your data is stored

  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar) for secure storage of emails, documents, and contracts.

  • Acuity Scheduling to manage bookings and reminders.

  • Stripe, Square, and PayPal for payments (I do not store card details).

  • All systems are password-protected and cloud-based. I do not store client data on local devices.

  • Some of the third-party services I use (Google Workspace, Stripe, Square, PayPal) may process data outside the UK/EU. These providers comply with GDPR through standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR Article 6)

  • Contract: to deliver coaching services you request.

  • Legal obligation: to maintain tax and accounting records.

  • Consent: for optional activities (e.g. newsletters, if introduced). You can withdraw consent at any time.

  • Legitimate interest: minimal data use for business operations (e.g. sending booking confirmations).

Your rights (UK & EU GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the data I hold about you.

  • Correct or update your data.

  • Request deletion of your data (unless I must retain it for legal reasons).

  • Restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances.

  • Withdraw consent for optional communications.

  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) or your local EU data protection authority.

Newsletters and marketing

  • At present, I do not send newsletters.

  • If I start, I will use a GDPR-compliant provider (e.g. MailerLite, ConvertKit).

  • You will only receive marketing emails if you explicitly opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Confidentiality in coaching

Everything shared in coaching sessions is confidential, except where I am required by law or if I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or others.

Cookies

This website uses essential cookies to function (for example, to enable bookings). I do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies.
